a coalition of
researchers, clinicians, parents, educators, and service providers who
work together to eliminate the symptoms of autism spectrum disorders (ASD)
in current and future generations, and improve the quality of life of the
growing number of persons affected by ASD. We do this through research to
identify the causes of ASD and prevent future cases, treatment to
alleviate or eliminate the symptoms of ASD, and outreach to provide
systems of support for individuals with ASD, their families, and the
healthcare professionals who care for them.

GRASP -
The Global and Regional Asperger Syndrome Partnership
- an educational and advocacy organization serving individuals on the
autism spectrum. What makes GRASP unique, other than its proven four
year-old support group network, its educational outreach, and its use as
an informational clearinghouse on issues relating to the autism spectrum,
are the stipulations GRASP must adhere to in accordance with our bylaws —
that the Executive Director, 100% of the Advisory Board, and 50% of the
Board of Directors of GRASP must be diagnosed with either Autism, Asperger
Syndrome, or Pervasive Developmental Disorder.

IMPACT -
Improving Middletown's Program for Autistic Children
Together - I.M.P.A.C.T. began in the fall of 1997 as a parent
support group. Meeting twice a month at a local Burger King, mothers of
autistic children discussed our children's needs, new therapies, etc.
Starting with just a few moms, the number increased over the last few
years. There are now 125 children with autism in the Middletown school
system. I.M.P.A.C.T.’s mission is to promote autism awareness with a major
focus on the inclusion and acceptance of autistic and other special
individuals into the community. I.M.P.A.C.T. seeks to advance the
inclusion of individuals with autism and other disabilities into schools,
extra-curricular activities and the work force.

Integrated Services for Autistic & Asperger’s Children - The
mission of
ISAAC
will be to provide children, parents, teachers and therapists with
affordable treatments and trainings in innovative and effective
interventions so that all children have a chance to learn how to love,
learn from and relate to others. We believe that children can unlock their
minds as we touch their hearts. In order to touch their hearts, we must
expose children to living and learning environments where they are deeply
loved, respected, believed in, and instructed in ways that children living
with autism need to be loved, respected, believed in and instructed.

Someone Special Needs You
- Our group was started by people like
you. Parents and volunteers who care. Our challenged children have a
hard time finding situations to socialize in a safe environment. Our
meetings provide an opportunity for children with special needs to be able
to develop peer relationships and have fun. It is also a great way for
children without disabilities that wish to volunteer. By being a buddy
they can get a better understanding of our more challenged children.

|
Spectrum Training Systems, Inc. serves to
educate the parents,
