Work Smarter Now
will work directly with special-needs organizations to help individuals
who have chosen self-employment as an alternate career choice by
developing a two-page Google
website, at no charge, to help entrepreneurs benefit from internet
visibility. While this does not include content development, entrepreneur information can be submitted using the Business
Resume form
HERE.
Google site hosting services are available at no charge and do not
require technical knowledge to maintain. Google site services include a
gMail account and a unique Google site domain name. Work Smarter Now will provide website and gMail account
information to the organization.
Each website will be
listed on
www.AnotherWayOnline.com and
www.WorkSmarterNowForAutism.com, will be submitted
to Search
Engine submission sites, and will receive an "Internet Newcomer's Club"
Press Release.

You are the bows from
which your children as living arrows are sent forth.
The archer sees the
mark upon the path of the infinite, and He bends you with His might that
His arrows may go swift and far.
Let your bending in
the archer’s hand be for gladness;
For even as He loves
the arrow that flies, so He loves also the bow that is stable.

Gibran

In 2000
when Marco was born, my sister asked me to be his godmother. Having two
children of my own, I accepted this request with great joy. In 2002, when
we learned Marco was diagnosed with autism, I accepted another responsibility, one to
help her communicate with other families in the community about the
challenges and joys of being an autistic family in a community that is
only today beginning to learn about autism. Inspired by a passage from
The Prophet by Khalil Gibran, I created the Living Arrows website -
www.LivingArrows.com
As
a result of its impact and a commitment to help adults with autism who may
have been misdiagnosed or undiagnosed until recently, I created
www.WorkSmarterNowForAutism.com.
This site is a resource for individuals in the autistic community to find
resources and information they may need and share or exchange with others in the community.
In
conjunction with this website, I began the HAP
Online Museum and
Traveling Art Show in 2007 to help communicate
the unique ways we all contribute in the community and the need for
everyone to Help Anyone Participate. In 2008, I am adding the
HAP
Online Literary Magazine, and will be accepting poetry and art images throughout
the year.
To submit information for posting
consideration, send an email to
worksmarternowforautism@mindspring.com with details. Do not send attachments as
they will not be open.
